I personally didn't see any newer items added to this sale section since spring sale announcement, and waiting for a bigger promo or at least a free shipping offer.

Jenna always looks amazing and chic. I love what she is wearing: formal black shorts over black tights, simple grey t-shirt, a long cardigan and a chic jacket complete the look. I love that she chose to wear a cardigan, I simply can not get enough of them and try to wear one wherever I go.
I noticed that most of the girls in J.Crew recent catalogs have very similar hairstyles like Jenna does in this picture: dark roots, lighter ends, kind of wavy messy style. Jenna rocks J.Crew style all the way. I love it!

The Perfect White Shirt for Any Occasion
I am happy to share that I've found THE perfect white shirt for any occasion. It is lightweight cotton with a hint of stretch. The material is really great: light, breathable and yet holds its shape for a fitted-structured look. This shirt is available as a three-quarter sleeves (#11454) or long sleeves (#87699). It's such a versatile piece to own that I believe it has to be in every one's closet. I know a lot has been said before about this classic item but I am just very excited to finally find it. I tried on a lot of other brands and could never really find a "perfect" fit. This one has a stay-in-place neck collar (for that "sharp" look), it's fitted to outline a waistline and just fits the body beautifully. I already paired it with a pencil skirt for work, with a mini skirt for a dinner night out and with jeans for a day of J.Crew shopping. Add a bold necklace for a pop of color and sparkle and you are good to go. This shirt is available in a few colors but white is my favorite. Check it out!!!

JENNA LYONS (cookie web exclusive)
***Inside Lyons' elegant apartment in New York
Cookie Sheet Web exclusive:
Jenna Lyons
As creative director and fashion visionary for J. Crew, Jenna Lyons just gets it. Thanks to her, the brand's classic styles have been updated with innovative twists—sequins, ribbons, and funky patterns—that drive women, including the new first lady, wild.
By Lexy Schmertz
Jenna lives in New York City with her husband, artist Vincent Mazeau, and their son, Beckett Lyons Mazeau, 2.
Here Jenna answers a few questions for us:
What about your children makes you laugh? The way Beckett runs straight up and down with a little forward thrust—it's hysterical. The way he gets obsessed with something for three weeks. And the way he says, "That's amazing."
What is your favorite family ritual? Saturday morning disco dancing.
What was your most frazzled mom moment? Pumping in random places all dressed up and overly emotional!
What parenting issue do you and your partner disagree most about? Spoiling Beckett at bedtime—I want to cuddle with him all the time and stay with him until he falls asleep. Daddy wants him to be a big boy and fall asleep on his own.
What is your parenting role: good cop or bad cop?Good, cuddly, soft, spoiling, kissing cop.
What do you wake up in the middle of the night thinking about? How, before long, he will want his friends more than me! How, soon, he'll want his own apartment, college, driver's license, teenage drinking—I might be a bit of a worrier....
What do you wish you had done before you had children?Had them earlier!
What is a typical Saturday morning in your house like?Scottish pizza, disco, the farmers' market, the playground. Pretty much every weekend, in that order.
What was your mom most right about? More things than I care to admit. Biggest one: "Save your money!"
What's your...
...guiltiest pleasure?Shoes.
...ideal getaway?Anyplace where my BlackBerry doesn't work!
...favorite clothing item? They are all my children—I cannot choose.
...current reading material? The four-month-old stack of New Yorkers by the bed.
What's your preference...
...chocolate or cheese? There is no "or." Life is not worth living without both.
...cook at home or eat takeout?Home!! The "Stumps Smoker" is my favorite backyard restaurant; my husband is the master BBQ-er.
...coddle your tot or let him cry it out?Coddle, cuddle, kiss. I know I'm going to make him a big softy. Thank God Daddy's not a mush.

LIFE WITH JENNA LYONS!!!
Fashionista - Fashion Designers, Models, Shopping, Style - Life With Jenna Lyons! Part I
Here is an article on fashionista.com about Jenna the creative director at J.Crew. "I spent Monday afternoon with Jenna Lyons, the Creative Director of J.Crew and pretty much the most dynamic person I have ever met. First of all, J.Crew is huge. Their office takes up two floors, each the size of a city block and includes everything from photo studios to mock-up stores to color libraries to faux store windows to design to merchandising to catalog to Crewcuts to Madewell - seriously, overwhelmingly big. In two hours, we toured the building and met the head designer’s various department teams: denim, kids, shoes, bags, jewelry, graphic tees, etc. I tried to grill Jenna on her day to day life but there’s just too damn much.
I naively assumed that when one lands in a top position at a major company, one signs off on other people’s creative decisions and orchestrates everything from above instead of minutely contributing to every single facet of the business. But no, whether it’s deciding what color to paint the staircase in the East Hampton store, which chairs to put in the renovated Prince Street location, sourcing wooden hands on which to display gloves come fall, casting catalog models, deciding how to sell colored pencils at Crewcuts, how one collaborates with a man who makes shirts out of sugar cane, or recruiting artists to work with, Jenna Lyons is deeply, deeply, deeply involved."....You can read more at fashionista.com

"GOLD FEVER"
I can't help it but to obsess about the color of GOLD right now. I don't know if it's the need to add some sparks into my life but I crave shiny J.Crew NOW! I noticed these items are flying off the shelves in stores and selling out fast online (sandals and dress are in SALE section!!!) I LOVE everything about this metallic gold: the shine, the sparkle, the rich feel and the bold look. My favorites are the metallic braided sandals ( Women's shoes - flat sandals - Paige metallic braided flat sandals - J.Crew) that J.Crew describes as: "reminiscent of a Greek goddess" and believe me you do feel like one! They truly update any look. They create this bohemian, relaxed, sort of "just stepped off a yacht" vacation vibe. Paired with white linen items they are simply FABULOUS! Check out the dress too (Women's catalog/jcrew.com exclusives - dresses - Metallic-linen strapless dress - J.Crew) it's cotton-linen, infused with a metallic thread for that extra sparkle; really pretty silhouette and fitted style. If you are interested in a metallic gold tank it's selling out fast in a SALE section ( Women's knits & tees - tanks & camis - Molten metallic tank - J.Crew). I think I'm ready for a Caribbean vacation, don't you think? =) Right now, Gold is my new black!
I would love to hear your comments!!! Let me know what you think!
For our "Oh, so fabulous!" husbands, J.Crew is opening a brand new men's store in SOHO, NYC soon. I can't wait to visit it and to check out the store's interior design. J.Crew really has great lay out in their stores. Each is unique in its own way and has a great story behind it. A lot of times the interior of the men's section reminds me of something from an old movie 40's to 60's era... Don't forget to check out my blog later for more info on the store's opening.
Kids Clothes - Children's Clothing, Boys Clothing, Girls Clothing - Crewcuts by J.Crew
You have to agree with me that crewcuts (kids line of J.Crew) is simply adorable! And now J.Crew is introducing their first time ever crewcuts catalog. The clothes are not only cute but also fun, whimsical, easy to care for, and have a touch of grown up charm to it. I simply love it!
I obsess about little girls' dresses in bright colors for the summer that have matching headbands with flowers. That's the look I'm going for this season for my little daughter. What are your favorite crewcuts items?

Summer CAMI
Women's new arrivals - shirts - Tuxedo-front solid cotton cami - J.Crew
$79.50 item 15251
I own probably the most amount of cardigans from anyone I know. I have cashmere, merino wool, cotton ones and pretty much everything in between. I am obsessed with cardigans of all types and colors and only from J.Crew. It is impossible for me to come out without a cardigan, I have one with me at all times. My outfits are not complete unless I have my button down with me. This said, I am always on a look out for great camis and cute tops to wear under those cardigans. I wrote about this tuxedo ruffle cami in one of my previous blogs and I absolutely obsess about it now. It is also one of Jenna's picks for the month on J.Crew website. Jenna's picks This cami comes in 5 different colors: white, light pewter, bronzed sand, bright fuchsia and fresh melon. I currently own a white one and absolutely love how versatile it is. It is made out of cotton, very light and extremely pretty. I wore it with a pencil skirt and topped with a summer featherweight cardigan in black (look at my previous blog on summer cardigans). I also wore it with trouser style jeans and both ways it looks fantastic. I plan on getting another one in a different color, but still contemplating between a bright fuchsia or fresh melon. I think they'll look amazing and really stand out with summer whites: shorts, capris or jeans.
