A BELTED TUNIC

My latest find is a belted beach tunic top. J.Crew lists it as:" The perfect seasonal top. We washed this airy tunic in pristine end-on-end woven cotton to a delicious summer-ready softness. I find my self wearing it nonstop! It's such a versatile top that can be worn to the beach, out on the town and even to work. I wear mine mostly with black leggings and high knee boots or flats. You can pair it with jeans belted or not for that borrowed-from-the-boyfriend-look that is sooo in right now. Also, pair it with J.Crew's newest Pixie black pant for a sharp, sophisticated look to work paired with pearls!!! I just love it!

ALL BUTTONED UP!

Ok, so I couldn't help but to notice J.crew's newest styling tip: buttoned up colar shirt with a t-shirt or a sweatshirt over it. I'm totally digging it. I love it. Somehow, I know that this combination we saw before in J.crew catalogs (refer to November 09) but the difference is that shirts weren't buttoned up and had a more relaxed feel to it. This is more of my taste. Very European with its sleek and strict look. The buttoned up version definitely makes it more put together and the trick is that you are still pairing it with a simple item like a t-shirt. It pairs well with jeans as well as a pencil skirt. I love it and absolutely will try this styling tip.

THE FLIRTIES NEWEST SPRING ARRIVALS!

These dresses are part of the newest spring J.Crew collection. How amazing are they? Very feminine, chiffon floor length gowns with a free and airy feel. I spotted the navy dress in the Garden State Plaza store and was simply smitten off my feet. It was the only one there dressed on the manikin and was simply stunning! Nave and white interchanging chiffon pieces hanging to the floor reminding of a Grecian gown of a goddess, belted with a twisted robe belt. I stood there and couldn't help but to envision it in my closet! Needless to say it had a VERY NICE price tag attached! I'll keep on imagining....but dreams do come true sometimes, don't they?
